Where can I pick up or get the car delivered?+
We deliver and collect at Mykonos Airport (JMK), the port, Mykonos Town, or your hotel or villa — and you can return the car at a different location from where you picked it up. Deliveries and collections outside working hours (09:00–21:00) carry a €20 charge.
Who is allowed to drive the car?+
Drivers must be over 23 years old and hold a valid driving licence issued at least one year earlier. A deposit for the estimated charges is taken at the start of the rental — no deposit is required from credit card holders honoured by Autorad.
Is fuel provided when I pick up the car?+
Yes, the car comes with fuel. Return it with the same amount you received — there are petrol stations all around the island. Fuel consumption during the rental is paid by the renter.
Are there penalties for a delayed drop-off?+
The car should be back at the time agreed, with one hour of leeway. Beyond that hour you are charged for the day. If you want to keep the car longer, call us first — if it isn't reserved, the extra days are simply charged at the usual rate.
If I return the car earlier, do I get reimbursed?+
Yes. If you bring the car back before the end of the agreed rental period, we reimburse you.
What do I do if the car breaks down or I have an accident?+
Autorad provides 24/7 roadside assistance — call us and a team of experienced mechanics takes care of the rest. If another vehicle is involved, file an accident report with the other driver so the damage waiver can be claimed.
Can I take the car by boat to another island?+
Only with advance written authorisation from Autorad. Note that the car is not covered by the damage or loss waiver during sea transport, so please ask us before booking the ferry.
What is and isn't covered by insurance?+
All authorised drivers are covered against third parties for death, injury or property damage. A Collision Damage Waiver reduces your liability for damage to the car for an extra daily fee; theft protection and personal accident cover are optional too. Damage caused by careless driving — gearbox, tyres, undercarriage — is not covered by any insurance, and traffic fines during the rental are the renter's responsibility.
